Capitalising on opportunities in the market for cloud-based testing, Dublin technology company Shenick, a specialist in IP and 4G networks, is to expand its office in California’s Silicon Valley. CTO Kevin Glavin will spearhead the company’s activities in the US.

The expanded office will serve as a base for Shenick’s US team of sales engineers, development engineers and support staff.

The company recently expanded its diversifEye VM test solution for cloud platforms and virtualisation hypervisors, including Xen, ESXi, KVM and Hyper-V down to each individual application flow.

In the heart of Silicon Valley

“The rapid move towards virtualisation and cloud services coupled with a strong base in IP network testing opens new and significant market opportunities for Shenick,” said Alan Robinson, CEO, Shenick Network Systems.

“Shenick’s customers include the world’s leading telcos, cable MSOs and network equipment manufacturers and we are pleased to be able to support them directly with a team of experts in virtualised IP communications test systems, located right in the heart of Silicon Valley,” Robinson said.
