Details on Samsung’s next flagship Android smartphone – the Galaxy S III – have seemingly leaked. It will reportedly feature a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and a 4.8-inch ‘full HD’ 1080p resolution screen.

BGR reports that the Samsung Galaxy S III will run on a 1.5GHz quad-core Samsung Exynos processor.

It may feature a 4.8-inch ‘full HD’ 1080p resolution display with 16:9 aspect ratio. It could include 4G LTE, may have a ceramic casing and could run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The smartphone may be equipped with an 8-megapixel, rear-facing camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

The details seemed to have leaked during this year’s Mobile World Congress. Samsung said it would not be showing the Galaxy S III during the event in Barcelona, as it wishes to unveil the device at its own dedicated event closer to its release date.

We’ll find out if these details match up with the smartphone when Samsung unveils it at the event during the first half of the year.
