Dublin-headquartered enterprise web content management provider pTools is overhauling a Canadian law firm’s website in a deal that employs pTools’ content management software services.

Montreal-based Heenan Blaikie’s website provides lawyer profiles and expertise for its 575 lawyers and professionals worldwide.

pTools will assist the firm’s web-based development, focused on Canada and France. The revamped website will segment lawyers’ profiles by expertise and industry sector, and individual lawyer experience.

The system uses back-end practice management data and combines this with emerging social media components to provide a reliable and secure resource to the firm and its clients.

“Digital media advances constantly. This overhaul of our website reflects what we have heard from our clients, as well as current best practices,” said Marie Rémillard, director of Marketing & Business Development.

“Our priority was to make it easy for clients and potential clients alike to find the information they need.”

Keith Wood, CEO of pTools, said this assignment represents a significant endorsement of pTools’ investment in web content management software as a service for customers operating across different territories and jurisdictions worldwide.
