Enterprise Ireland’s TechResources directory for Irish technology companies entering the US market is now live with additional functionality, such as LinkedIn integration and the ability to save, share and comment on resources.

TechResources.US, which first launched in May 2012, provides Irish technology companies doing business in the US with up-to-date information and connections to in-market resources, services and supports.

Niamh Bushnell is a US market entry expert who co-founded and runs TechResources.

“The enhanced functionality in TechResources allows our users to leverage their LinkedIn profiles to assess the current strength of their US networks and secure new connections to make those networks even stronger,” Bushnell said.

“This feature was very popular in our user testing over the summer so we’re delighted to bring it live today. We’ve also added commenting, sharing and saving functionality to encourage users to share their knowledge and discoveries of great new resources with their peers.”

Nick Marmion, head of Software with Enterprise Ireland’s Americas team, said that with more than 1,500 curated resources, including Enterprise Ireland’s own knowledge of the market, TechResources is the essential tool for Irish companies looking at the US.

“We’ve no doubt TechResources 2.0 will add even greater value,” said Marmion added.
