The upcoming IFA taking place in Berlin from 31 August to 5 September is sure to bring us some new tech goodies to drool over, and this teaser clip from Samsung hints at a sleek Windows 8-powered notebook with touchscreen technology.

Samsung’s participation in the consumer electronics trade show already promises to reveal the new Galaxy Note 2, but it looks like the brand has another unveiling up its sleeve.

The teaser below references the evolution of technology and the description on YouTube calls it a glimpse into Samsung’s newest Windows 8-ready innovation.

Without giving too much away, it’s certainly enough to get excited about. We spy a corner of the keypad, a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it look at the laptop opening up and – is that a stylus?

Considering Windows 8’s touchscreen capabilities, it seems Samsung has decided to create a notebook that has it all – keypad, touch-screen and stylus control. But we’ll have to wait until next week to get a closer look.
