The Tuesday Push: Collab.ie

23 Jun 2009

This week’s Tuesday Push is an innovative web service aimed at bringing ideas and skills together for any type of collaboration, project, individual or organisation.

Irish entrepreneurs seeking skills and resources now have access to a new free online service that puts them in touch with like-minded people.

The website called Collab.ie created by Irish start-up software company Smartcube aims to bring ideas and skills together.

Collab can be used :

  • for any type of collaboration
  • for any type of project
  • by any individual or organisation.

The site allows users to put up their projects or ideas, so they can get access skills to assist with the execution. Users’ posts are in confidence and the original poster can decide who they want to contact.

Any projects that get posted get a tweet to followers of the site on Twitter, increasing the exposure of who sees projects. Users can also sign up for an RSS feed of new postings.

When you have an idea, it can be hard to find people interested in working with you on it. Collab provides an environment for like-minded people to bring projects to the table.
