Angry Birds now available for PCs

Popular video game Angry Birds is now landing on PCs, courtesy of the Intel AppUp Store.

The game featuring flocks of angry birds seeking vengeance on green pigs costs US$4.99 on the app store for Windows PCs.

Users will have to have the Intel AppUp Store already installed on their PC, however, before they can download the game.

More than 6.5m copies of Angry Birds have been sold since its release for the iPhone and iPod touch. Versions of the game for other touchscreen-based smartphones have also been released.
