101 things Irish parents say

This one may have passed under our radar since its upload in June, but it’s been doing the rounds on many a Facebook account this week. Uploader tropperstopper captures Irish parents to a T with phrases we’ve heard all too often, like ‘I will in my eye’, ‘Sure this is it’, and ‘As soon as Glenroe is over it’s straight up.’

Some Music That I Used to Love

What’s better than making a YouTube video parody? Making the parody that calls a stop to all other parodies, that’s what. Gotye’s delightful yet earwormy song ‘Somebody That I Used to Know’ has been everywhere since its release last year, and comedian Eric Schwartz, AKA Smooth-E, has had enough. He may have loved the song on its initial release, but now that his granny has it as her ringtone, he thinks it’s time to call it off – YouTube-style (and with a shout out to Carly Rae Jepsen to boot).
