Eircom deploys SME one-stop shop

Eircom has deployed a new solutions services aimed at managing the ICT requirements of SMEs through a single point of contact.

Eircom said this morning it will be leveraging its partner base, which includes Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft and IBM to provide a single point of contact for SME business needs ranging from helpdesk support to peripheral purchases and network design, implementation and management.

Entitled Total ICT, Eircom claimed the service will provide a specialist consultant assessment of an SME’s overall ICT needs, qualified engineers will install and show customers how everything works, data security assessments will be carried out and remote assistance will be provided through telephone support from a designated service centre.

According to Alan Morrissey, head of Eircom Total ICT, Eircom has amassed a strong history and track record in deploying fully managed IT solution to businesses of all sizes.

“This is an important development for SMEs. Businesses need to focus on their core objectives and Eircom Total ICT provides the necessary expertise and support, thereby relieving organisations of potential technology headaches,” Morrissey said.
