Perlico to spend €2m on ad campaign

31 Mar 2008

Telecoms and broadband company Perlico is to embark on a €2m advertising campaign to promote its new broadband package.

Every household in Ireland will receive an information leaflet outlining details of the new Freedom Bundle, which offers calls, broadband and line rental for €39.99 a month.

“This package represents our best-ever value and amounts to significant savings for all those who sign up,” claimed Perlico’s head of marketing, Niamh McDonough. “[Customers] constantly reference the price of calls to mobile phones and international destinations so we have packaged these elements in one unique bundle, along with local and national calls, broadband and line rental.”

In early March 2008, Perlico announced a ‘pay as you go’ broadband service from €0.01 per megabyte used.

In November 2007, Perlico was bought by Vodafone Ireland for €80m.
