Following a deal with Sony Professional Solutions, Cork company PC Pro will now become the Irish distributor for Sony’s range of data and security products and services including CCTV equipment, public display boards and videoconferencing.
PC Pro already acts as distributor for a number of other tech companies including Symantec, Philips, HP and Intel.
On choosing the Cork company, Sony channel manager David Byrne said: “The security industry in the Munster region is continuing to grow at a rapid rate and to drive forward Sony Professional Solutions’ ambitious plans we have appointed PC Pro as our distributor for the region.”
Sony Professional Solutions is actively expanding its Irish presence, recently introducing the first 1080i HD videoconferencing system to Ireland, the Sony PCS-XG80.
With over 16 years of experience in both manufacturing and distributing security and IT products, PC Pro is “fully trained in the Sony CCTV range and we stock both the analogue and IP products. We can offer services to installers such as system specification, commissioning, support and warranty replacement,” said Des Corbett, business development manager for the firm.
