Internet search giant Google has decorated its homepage stateside with a Thanksgiving-themed Google Doodle. Today is Thanksgiving Day in the US.
The doodle is only visible to those who go to Google.com from within the US. Google users who visit Google.com from outside the US will see the usual Google logo.
New York City’s annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade may have inspired today’s Google Doodle, which features a parade with balloons in the shape of each of the letters in ‘Google’.
Further down the homepage, Google posted a link to a page for several of its services that it says will help families make the most of the holiday, such as Google Hangouts, for chatting online; and Flight Tracker, which helps users monitor flight schedules.
