iPhone 5 panel display to be less than 4 inches

The latest rumours emerging from Asian manufacturers suggest that the Apple iPhone 5’s panel size will be less than 4-inches, despite rumours that it would have a 4.2-inch panel.

The reports suggest that the back of the iPhone 5 will be metal instead of the reinforced glass found on the iPhone 4.

According to Taiwan manufacturing news service DigiTimes, the new iPhone will come with an 8-megapixel camera, an A5 dual-core processor and an ultra-thin industrial design.

The report also suggests the iPhone 5 will adopt a 3.5 to 3.7-inch panel and its design will allow the bezel to become thinner and thus make the screen look larger.
