Smartphone owners who want to experience all life has to offer but don’t want to leave their handsets behind for fear of damaging them may no longer have to with the Motorola DEFY+.
The Motorola DEFY+ smartphone has been designed to be dust proof, scratch resistant and water resistant, so it can survive a sudden downpour, day at the beach or workout in the gym.
The handset even comes pre-loaded with a CardioTrainer application, which transforms the device into a running mate.
Built with scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass and a 3.7-inch touchscreen display, the Motorola DEFY+ runs on the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) operating system and also aims to be speedy with a 1GHz processor and longer battery life. This new version of Android boasts a more intuitive user interface and improvements on often-used features, including enhanced calendar and email features and home-screen options.
Users can make Motorola DEFY+ their own by organising and personalising their Application trays for easy and quick access to their most-used tools, games and content.
Users of the Motorola DEFY+ will be able to surf the web, stay updated with social networking sites on the phone’s home screen, and download and enjoy rich media content, thanks to an Adobe Flash 10-enabled browser.
The Music Player lets users access, share and stream music straight from a desktop, with Motorola Media Link. Motorola DEFY+ also features Google Talk to keep users connected with friends and colleagues, while built-in apps like the Zinio e-magazine service allow users to keep up with their favourite publications while on the go.
The Motorola DEFY+ also features a 5MP camera with flash, digital zoom and auto focus.

The Motorola DEFY+ will be available in Asia, Europe and Latin America starting in early fall.
