Pandas are so hot right now.
Mere months after a photo where you had to spot a panda amongst a field of snowmen went viral, another panda-based optical illusion has taken the internet world by storm.
Originally uploaded to Imgur three years ago, the image, created by artist Ilja Klemencov, has gone viral in recent days after being uploaded to Reddit.
So, can you spot the panda among the zig-zag lines?
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the image was originally designed by Klemencov to advocate for the protection of wildlife against the threat of extinction – the panda that you should be able to make out in the illusion is the well-known logo of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
Klemencov’s work took the first prize in the World Student Poster Biennial held in Serbia in 2010, and now, thanks to the internet’s love of a good distraction, it’s been given new momentum in 2016.
Tip: If you’re having trouble spotting the panda, just move back from the screen a little.
