IT firm invests €1.2m in Dublin expansion

Business infrastructure provider Netforce is investing €1.2m in an expansion of its business in south Dublin and has forged strategic managed services alliances in the US and the UK.

Netforce has acquired a new business premises in Rathfarnham and has increased its headcount to seven in Ireland.

The company is now offering managed services on a 24 hour, seven days per week basis.

Netforce has also established strategic alliances with UK firm NCI and US firm ZI Corp, which will allow the company to offer remote managed services. Between them, the partner companies have 450 technical engineers at their disposal.

Netforce director, Larry Doyle, says the company is strong technically and can hold its own against larger players in the Irish market.

“By expanding the company, we can now offer enterprise level services with SME attention to detail,” Doyle explained.

The company has particular expertise in the areas of virtualisation, voice telephony & messaging, data storage and recovery, network architecture & security, digital dictation, data lifecycle management and the Microsoft product platform.
