The iPhone 4S

Just after Vodafone warned users not to update their iPhone 4S devices to iOS 6.1 because of issues with cellular coverage, Apple has issued a new update called iOS 6.1.1 which resolves these issues.

Yesterday, we reported that Vodafone warned consumers not to update to iOS 6.1 because the operating system update impacted performance of the iPhone 4S on its networks.

Consumers who had made the update were understood to be experiencing difficulty connecting to Vodafone’s 3G network, to make or receive calls or texts, or to connect to the internet.

It is understood 3 Austria customers experienced the same problems.

Hopefully, the new update iOS 6.1.1 will resolve all of these issues.
