Assassin’s Creed Revelations out now in Ireland

15 Nov 2011

Assassin’s Creed Revelations is out today for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with a PC version following on 2 December.

Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, the latest title in the series lets players take the role of three characters from previous games – Ezio, Desmond and Altair.

Assassin’s Creed Revelations sees Ezio walk in the footsteps of his mentor Altair, the hero of the original Assassin’s Creed. It takes him to Constantinople, the centre of the Ottoman Empire, where an army of Templars wishes to destabilise the region.

The game includes expanded multiplayer with new modes, maps and characters. It also has a new arsenal of weapons and abilities, which include free-running and hookblade combat.

Ubisoft is also releasing Assassin’s Creed Embers, a CG animated short movie expanding on the final chapter of Ezio’s life. It will be available with the Assassin’s Creed Revelations Animus Edition from GameStop, with the Collection Edition and for digital download either on Xbox LIVE or the PlayStation Network.
