Newlyweds Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan, reportedly on their honeymoon, have been spotting dining out in Rome and failing to leave a tip for the €32 bill.

After a lunch that consisted of deep-fried artichokes, fried pumpkin flowers, ravioli stuffed with sea bass and artichokes, a bottle of water and pot of tea at Nonna Betta, the couple walked away without leaving a gratuity, leaving behind baffled waiters, The Telegraph reported.

The restaurant’s owner told the newspaper that after being asked about the meal, Zuckerberg said the food was “very good”.

This is apparently not the first time Zuckerberg opted not to tip – despite being worth US$20bn. He reportedly did the same thing the night before at a trattoria.

Chan and Zuckerberg wed on 19 May in Palo Alto, California, one day after Facebook’s IPO.

The couple’s honeymoon is supposed to be secret. A tourist spotted them in the Sistine Chapel, snapped a blurry photograph, and posted it on microblogging site Twitter.
