KPMG is launching a new app which will offer commentary and analysis of this year’s Budget, giving people and businesses in Ireland a way to track how the Budget will impact their finances.
The app aims to keep people informed of how they will be affected by Budget 2012, which will be announced over a two-day period starting today from 2.30pm.
The Budget 2012 app for iOS and Android devices will offer a net income calculator, letting people check how the Budget will impact their finances.
It will offer videos assessing the implications of the Budget on Irish business and will include tax-related information and insights.
The app will also host updates on new regulatory and legislative developments.
“People expect information on the go and this app will help them instantly assess the impact of the Budget on their own tax situation,” said Shaun Murphy, head of tax at KPMG Ireland.
“It is designed to make not only Budget 2012 tax-related insights more accessible and manageable, but it will enable anyone with an iPhone, iPad or Android device quick access to a broad range of up-to-date business-related tax content.”
“It has never been more important for Irish businesses to keep up with the pace of change in the area of tax and related business issues. When designing this app, we recognised users wanted access to clear, relevant and timely tax information at the touch of a button, and our app delivers on all these fronts,” he said.
The app is available on KPMG’s website which will push out updates when KPMG publishes new articles and information.
