Apple store app finally goes live

15 Jun 2010

Apple has launched in the US only a new app for its Apple online store that allows customers to buy Apple products, including the new iPhone, from their iPhones or iPod touches.

The app is available as a free download from today from the App Store.

The app allows iPhone or iPod touch users to find an Apple retail store near them and make reservations for tech support, personal shopping appointments, advice at the Genius Bar, hands-on workshops and personal training sessions.

Users of the app can also shop the full selection of more than 1,000 products and accessories from the Apple online store and get answers to product questions.
