Public asked to vote for best online business resource in Eircom Spiders

25 Oct 2012

The Eircom Spider Awards take place next week and, for the first time, members of the public will have their say in voting for the inaugural Eircom Spider Business’ Choice Award.

To recognise sites that have played a vital role in developing digital enterprise, the public vote will decide Ireland’s best business resource website from a shortlist of four: the website of the Digital Hub Development Agency, restaurant guide Menupages.ie, graphic design and printing service Printing.ie, and cloud accounting resource SortMyBooks.

Each voter will also be in with a chance to win a Samsung Galaxy S III, courtesy of eMobile.

“With the countdown for the Eircom Spider Awards well under way, we are calling on everyone to get their votes in for who they think is the most deserving award winner,” said Carolan Lennon, chief commercial officer of Eircom and chair of the Spider Awards judging panel. “We also encourage businesses to get behind the shortlisted businesses and have their say on who should be awarded the Eircom Spider Business’ Choice Award.”

Voting is open now, right up to the night of the ceremony, via the Eircom Spiders Facebook page. The Eircom Spider Awards take place on 1 November in the Convention Centre Dublin and will be hosted by comedian Des Bishop.
