A new Irish start-up, MyDoggyHotel.ie, is launching today, letting pet owners book pet accommodation from around Ireland online.
The service profiles pet accommodation from across Ireland, helping people find the best location for their pet.
“Traditionally, people found out about good pet accommodation through word-of-mouth or local advertising,” said David Masterson, founder of MyDoggyHotel.
“MyDoggyHotel.ie opens up the choice of pet accommodation online and offers pet owners an informed and convenient way to book the best place,” he said.
Each location featured on MyDoggyHotel.ie includes a description of facilities, pictures and map location to show pet owners what each accommodation offers.
The new site is being launched as part of The 12 Business Days of Christmas initiative from the DCU Business School and the Leadership, Innovation and Knowledge Research Centre.
It aims to kick start brand awareness of 12 new internet companies that have either spun-out from the university or who have been gleaning expertise from DCU.
A separate start-up will launch on each business day from 1-20 December.
