UK-headquartered Thomas International, a global provider of psychometric assessment and team profiling software and services, has taken a significant equity stake in CareerGuidance.ie.
Founded by Diarmuid Haughian, CareerGuidance.ie enables users to directly make appointments with a national network of qualified career guidance counsellors as well as providing the most extensive careers information and support on-site.
Users can create their own career profiles, avail of email career guidance, online psychometric tests, CV surgery, cover letter composition, search more than 12,000 courses and access career guidance programmes, to mention just a few of the services CareerGuidance.ie provide.
In addition, videos, podcasts and webinars available on the website offer guidance and allow young adults, parents and professionals to make informed educational and career decisions.
Haughian has researched and analysed the response of thousands of users over the last two years, enabling him to continuously make improvements to CareerGuidance.ie.

CareerGuidance.co.uk, the UK site, will also launch in late 2012 and the company also has the domains for the USA, Australia, New Zealand and other English-language countries.
