We take a look at some of the most-viewed and most-shared videos on the web. This week features a terrifying cat, a musical flight, a JobBridge skit, a Riverdance, and an April Fool’s Day prank.

About 100 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute, 500 years of video watched on Facebook every day, and more than 700 YouTube videos shared on Twitter each minute, ensuring there is always video trending on the web.

With so much video available for viewing, we take a look at some of the viral videos that have caught our eye this week.

The Lion King in-flight entertainment

Boarding a plane isn’t a whole lot of craic – that is, unless you’re boarding a flight in Brisbane, Australia and your fellow passengers are the cast of The Lion King’s Australian stage-show. The talented cast serenaded their fellow passengers with a rendition of ‘Circle of Life’, offering an uplifting break from the monotony of baggage loading and safety announcements.

Fitzy and Wippa host a breakfast radio show in Sydney, Australia, but their talents don’t end there. For April Fool’s Day, they went to great lengths to set up their bosses and fellow staff members with hidden cameras, a fake resignation and an F-bomb dropped ‘live’ on-air. Irish wedding Riverdance

The reception of the wedding of Rob Wilson and Mairead McCargo has earned its place in viral video history thanks to Wilson’s rounding up of every male in the room for an unforgettable Riverdance. The group looks unlikely to impress at first, but their flailing feet in formation is genuinely a sight to behold.
