50 new technology jobs for Dublin

Expertise marketplace Gerson Lehrman Group plans to create 50 hi-tech positions for graduates in Dublin for positions that include C#/ASP/.Net software engineers and quality assurance engineers, product managers and other professionals.

Through the company’s marketplace, experts known as Gerson Lehrman Group Councils Members deliver expertise and decision-making assistance to business, government, and investment leaders around the world.

Recruitment has already commenced for third-level graduates for positions that include C#/ASP/.Net software engineers and quality assurance engineers, product managers and professionals to help build, manage and deploy experts from the Gerson Lehrman Group CouncilsSM. 

IDA Ireland competed against other key European locations is now assisting Gerson Lehrman Group Ireland with the start-up of the new facility.

 “This highly sophisticated operation is perfectly in line with the Governments continuing efforts to position Ireland as the leading European location-of-choice for innovation-led and knowledge-based global investments,” the Tanaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Mary Coughlan said.

“It is a further demonstration that Ireland today successfully competes for the highest level of global foreign direct investments across all areas of business activity,” the Tanaiste added.

Gerson Lehrman Group’s network of expert consultants includes physicians, scientists, engineers, business executives, attorneys, and other professionals.

The Gerson Lehrman Group Councils consist of more than 200,000 subject matter experts who educate and provide insight to decision-makers worldwide. Clients regularly consult Gerson Lehrman Group Council Members through telephone consultations, face-to-face meetings, expert surveys and seminars.

The company’s Irish activities will include sales and client service, software development, including next-generation technology platform and research software. 

The Gerson Lehrman Group Ireland team will also be recruiting new European members for the Gerson Lehrman Group Councils; supporting and developing the global IT, legal, finance, accounting, sales and marketing operations; and coordinating with the relevant New York and London based teams.
