OMFJ! Someone has launched an Irish comedy website

25 Mar 2011

A new Irish comedy website featuring videos by Irish comedians and performers has been launched to bring together Irish comedy content in a single location to showcase the performers’ talents.

The site OMFJ (Oh My ‘Effin Jaysus) is the brainchild of performers Sharyn Hayden and Christian Talbot, and the aim is to showcase Irish talent to the world.

Aspiring comedians can contribute videos for the site at lol@omfj.ie.

Showcasing Irish talent

“The response has been unbelievable and we have some truly hilarious Irish-made videos and sketches on our site, with more to come,” Hayden promised.

The group has also set up Facebook and Twitter accounts to spread the message.

The site features videos from characters like Shazwanda, Ding Dong, the Guilty Folk, Half a Giraffe, Mae Martin, Ghost Train Willy, Crooked Humour, Chris Kavanagh and Joanna Ryde.
