Novosco notches up deal with Notting Hill.

Belfast-headquartered managed cloud provider Novosco has secured a deal worth more than £10m with Notting Hill Housing, a major UK housing association.

Notting Hill Housing manages nearly 32,000 properties across London and is building thousands more.

“Notting Hill is one of the largest housing associations in London, and Novosco looks forward to providing it with an innovative service across a wide range of areas including service desk, security and disaster recovery,” said Patrick McAliskey, Novosco managing director.

“Our team has unrivalled experience and expertise working in the sector, which has been a key factor in us securing the contract.”

Novosco employs almost 150 people and also has offices in Belfast, Manchester, Dublin and Cork. Last year, it acquired NetDef, an English IT security solutions and managed services expert, further extending its presence in the UK market.

The company has clients in the public, private and voluntary sectors across the UK and Ireland, including Premier League football teams, some of the UK’s largest health trusts and many of Northern Ireland’s top companies.

In a five-year deal that commences this summer, Novosco will provide a range of IT services, including service support and delivery, application management, ICT commodity services, and strategic planning.

The company has built considerable expertise in the housing association sector, working for organisations including Swan Housing in the south of England, Northwards Housing based in Manchester, and Radius, which has around 33,000 homes in Northern Ireland.

Notting Hill is the third of the so-called G15 (London’s largest housing associations) that Novosco has secured as a client.

“With so many residents relying on us every day, it is absolutely vital that our IT systems are efficient, stable and secure,” said Andrew Muir, group director of corporate services at Notting Hill Housing.

“For that reason, we look forward to working with Novosco, who have a proven track record in providing a high-quality service to the housing sector and beyond.”
