Samsung has launched its range of Q series notebooks in Ireland, including the Q330, the Q430 and the Q530.

All of the notebook computer models include either Intel Core i3 or Intel Core i5 processors.

The Q series features enhanced battery life capabilities, which can be boosted with Samsung’s Extended Battery Life solution.

They feature DLNA capabilities, letting users control, search and play media across compatible devices, such as HD TVs or phones.

The series includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity for file sharing.

This notebook is aimed at users who want mobility. It weighs 1.97kg, the lightest in the series.

It has a 13.3-inch HD LED display and offers up to seven hours of battery life.

It’s equipped with a hybrid graphic feature, which alternates graphic modes between the Intel HD graphic card and the NVIDIA GeForce 310M, which saves power consumption.

The Q430 offers a 14-inch HD LED display and weighs 2.09kg.

It features 16:9 aspect ratio and has the NIVIDIA GeForce GT 330M graphics card for video playback and gaming.

It has 1GB gDDR3 memory and includes HDMI ports, a 3-in-1 card reader and a built-in optical disk drive.

The Q530 has all the features of the Q430 with a few additions. It has a bigger screen, at 15.3 inches, and weighs 2.3 kg.

The Samsung Q series is available now from €699.
